The Record
What would happen if every day went on the record?
One report card for each day of one Model Y: the jobs done, the miles driven and how much of it was on FSD (Supervised). The day, the week, the month, the quarter and the year, each with the one before it.
Since August 23, 2026: 50 days on the record, 4,194.8 miles driven in all, 95.1% FSD (Supervised). Delivery work: $1,467 earned over 17 days, and the apps counted 773.2 miles on the 11 days they gave them ($813.11 paid, $753.56 pending).
The car’s own record runs to October 10, 2026. The day on the record after it shows what the apps counted, and fills in with the car’s miles and FSD (Supervised) share at the next pull.

How to read a card
- Every day is one of five kinds: driven, rest (the car did not move), charge-only, open (still going) or no car record yet. The Legend says how each is decided and how every figure is made.
- Every card opens on three things: the jobs done, the miles driven, and the share of those miles on FSD (Supervised).
- measured comes from the car or a document: the car’s own record, a charging invoice, the delivery app’s screens.
- modeled is worked out from measured figures.
- stated is the owner’s word, with no document behind it.
- Money is shown by its state: paid, invoiced, pending (the app has credited it, the cash is not yet confirmed in), and booked while it is only agreed. Booked is never added to earned.
- A day the record holds nothing for is a gap, never a zero. A correction is dated and shown on the day it fixes.
- Not shown: where the car goes, when it leaves, a client’s name, an address.
